2008 Food Vendor Information
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY !!
Greetings !!!
The Brookings Summer Arts Festival Committee has been busy planning for
the 2008 Festival. This year's festival will be held on Saturday, July 12th, from
10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and then on Sunday, July 13th, from 10:00 to 5:00.
The Committee would like to extend an invitation to apply for a food booth
space. The booth fee this year is $225.00 for profit and commercial booths
and $200.00 for non-profit organizations for both days. A $10.00
non-returnable jury fee is also assessed to all applicants.
Separate checks need to be included for EACH fee or your application will
be disqualified.
The fee provides a 12' X 28' booth space, and you must confine your entire
operation to this space.
No storage trailers or storage trucks are allowed in the east food row
during festival hours.
All products must be in your booth space. Participants are responsible for
their own display.
Photos of the booth as it will appear in the park (if photos are unavailable
then a drawing of the size and layout will suffice) are required as well as
proof of liability insurance must be sent in with the application.
All food booth sales will be from within the food booth and service will be from
the FRONT of the booth ONLY.
Serving from trailers is not allowed. NO TRAILERS
*Please make sure your electrical outlets are all GFIC. The inspector has been
tolerant in the past, but he will require GFIC or you cannot use the outlets. It is
for your own protection.
The soda and bottled water are distributed by the Coca-Cola Company,
who will be in contact with accepted participants.
Booth fees are not transferable and will not be refunded after June 1, 2008.
There is no guarantee of shade and no vehicles are allowed in the park during
the Festival.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: March 10, 2008.
